Idaho Dating Ideas
Need a date idea? At Idaho Online Mall, we've created a list of fun places to visit and dine throughout Idaho. Let us help you create a dating experience that is memorable.
The Melting Pot
For a unique twist on dinner or even just appetizers before kicking off the night, hit up the Melting Pot! Now a sit down for the whole 4-5 course meal would be tough on a early date, it'll set you back several pretty pennies and you better have about 2 hours of conversation ready to go – the full meal is not to be taken lightly. Instead, head to the bar side which you'll find refreshingly open and order a la carte! You can order just cheese, or cheese and chocolate fondue because, let's be honest, what more could you want? Cheese or Dessert fondue pots for 2 will run roughly $16 each or for a screaming deal hit up Happy Hour 7 days a week 4pm-6pm, $10 for a pot for 2!
Ste Chappelle Winery
An easily overseen dating idea can be as simple as wine tasting. You don't have to have any experience, wineries are happy to help you find your love for wine. St. Chappelle is one of the best for 1st timers! Being one of the few wineries with an extensive white collection, and several sweeter wines, even if you're not a big wine fan, this is an easy one to get into. For $5, they guide you through the tastings of 5 wines and you get a keepsake wine glass all done with the beautiful backdrop of the vineyards. What more could you ask for?
Silverhawk Helicopter Tours
This one is for the more extravagant date, for the date you never want them to forget. Silverhawk Aviation out of Caldwell does scenic tours starting at $140 for a couple. They have all sorts of tours available depending on the package you buy but check out their page they frequently offer Valentines packages as low as $99 per couple and at Christmas they do tours of the Christmas Lights or try your luck at BoiseOnlineMall.com to win a Christmas tour of Boise for two.
If you're looking to impress, Barbacoa is the place to go. There is nothing like it in the Treasure Valley. Their food is classified as "South American Fusion", but it is more steak house with a hip twist and the presentation of the food is worth it in and of itself. Dinner here could go from your $50 steak to a table of fun and affordable appetizers, whose presentation are equally as impressive as the meals. If dinner isn't in your plans for your date night, no worries, stop by for one of their ice martinis served in a glass of, you guessed it, ice, and enjoy the eclectic mix of art meets decor that makes up the interior that is best described as, well... indescribable.
Knock 'em Dead Dinner Theatre
