The Saint Alphonsus 2012 Festival of Trees
This is a Boise and Treasure Valley tradition for nearly three decades with more than 40k attendees annually. The Festival of Trees is held during Thanksgiving week and marks the beginning of the holiday season for many families in Boise. All year long, more than 250 volunteers including over 500 Treasure Valley businesses and individuals plan the Festival of Trees. They give their time, talent and wealth to sponsor the Festival's fantastic trees and wreaths.
Start the Christmas Holiday Season off at the Festival of Trees
With strong Boise community and Idaho corporate support, the Festival of Trees has raised millions of dollars for community healthcare within Boise and the Treasure Valley. Through the years, the Festival of Trees beneficiaries have included the Eye Institute, Orthopedics, Neurology, Cancer Care, Life Flight and Trauma Services, Mobile Health Services, Cardiac and Rehabilitation Services, Telehealth, and Robotic Surgery.

Let the kids know that they will be able to create a Christmas card, color an ornament, visit with the Elves, and then take a picture with Santa!

Children's Scavenger Hunt
There will be a scavenger hunt with the prize being a season pass to Roaring Springs Water Park.
The Festival of Trees and the Boise School District will have a art gallery featuring artists from kindergarten to 6th Grade.
You will also be able to do some Christmas shopping at the Festival Gift Shop.
There will be continuous entertainment throughout the Festival featuring local dance groups, choirs and musicians.
