The Discovery Center of Idaho is a local access center for educational materials available from the NASA Regional Teacher Resource Center of Idaho at the University of Idaho.

The Center was a philanthropic project of the Junior League of Boise. In 1988, after four years of temporary exhibitions, feasibility studies and development, the Junior League secured a permanent home for the science learning project that has today grown into a 26,000 sq. ft. science museum with more than 150 exhibits and national affiliation with the Association of Science Technology Centers and the Eisenhower National Clearinghouse.
